 Saint Antony Monastery places a high priority on protecting your privacy. This privacy policy was created in order to demonstrate Saint Antony Monastery’s commitment to the privacy of our members and website users. This policy explains what types of information is collected by Saint Antony Monastery’s website, and how this information is used.

What Personally Identifiable Information is Collected
When you are making a donation, purchasing a product, or subscribing to our online newsletter, Saint Antony Monastery asks you for personal contact information such as your name, mailing address, phone number and e-mail address. We may use this contact information to provide you with a receipt or financial report; to contact you to clarify or obtain additional information about an order you placed, a donation you made; or to send you additional information about Saint Antony Monastery.

From time to time, Saint Antony Monastery rents or exchanges its list of direct mail supporters with other related organizations to benefit our programs and activities. Such organizations will not have continued access to your name and address unless you choose to respond to their initial mailing. Personal billing information we collect and what we do with it
In addition to personal contact information, we ask for billing information, such as your billing address and credit card number, when you make a donation or purchase a product. We use secure servers to gather and process your billing information. These secure servers are hosted by third parties. Your billing information is not shared with any other organizations, and your credit card number is not retained once your transaction has been authorized and processed.

Financial transactions and our secure servers
All financial transactions on our website, specifically donations and purchases, are managed through PayPal and Authorize.net, which is TRUSTe certified. All transactions use an encrypted channel, take place on secure servers and occur in real time. No financial data, such as your credit card number, is transferred via a less-secure channel, such as encrypted e-mail, for processing. Moreover, once your transaction has been completed, your credit card number is not retained.

Refund Policy
On this website Saint Antony Monastery may collect fees associated with event registrations and/or supplies associated with those events. Occasionally someone may require a refund. All refund requests will be directed to our accounting department for processing. You may contact our bookkeeper by contacting the Monastery office or through email at : saintantonymonasteryus@yahoo.com . Refund decisions will be based on several factors relating to the transaction you are requesting a refund for. These could include the following:
1.  Did the Monastery incur expense to secure your participation in the event that we are unable to reclaim?
2. Was the event noted as non-refundable?
Decisions to override this policy are reserved to the Monastery Business Administrator.

IP addresses
Saint Antony Monastery uses your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, to administer our website, and for statistical metrics used to track website visitor traffic.

Normal browsing
Saint Antony Monastery does not collect any personally identifying information from you when you visit our website unless you choose to provide such information to us.
